Yonder IT Solutions is pleased to announce the availability of a new version of the QuariX framework. Complete informations and a demo based on the new release are available at http://www.quarix.net.
QuariX is a framework, based on a mixture of industry standard technologies, specially created to fulfill the need of rapid development and deployment of modern Web 2.0 applications. Applications based on QuariX can be as rich as modern desktop applications without their drawbacks or as thin as regular web based application.
Cluj Napoca, Romania, June 11, 2007 - Yonder IT Solutions is pleased to announce the availability of a new version of the QuariX framework. Complete information’s and a demo based on the new release are available at http://www.QuariX.net .
The new version represents a major milestone in the development of the framework. Based on the valuable experiences gathered with the first two releases, a major architectural refactoring both on the client as on the server side allowed us to further improve both the end user experience as the development process of the QuariX based applications.
Some of the changes reflected in this new release include:
- Completely new, object oriented, JavaScript based user interface components for better code reuse and handling;
- Complete communication mechanism between components based on a custom publish subscribe mechanism inspired by 4GL ADM2 Smart Objects and the related publish subscribe links;
- Smart components, client-side objects were built to resemble as much as possible the 4GL ADM2 Smart Objects;
- Decoupling of the data from the interface through the specialized DataObject, DataView components;
- Decoupling of the user interface from the business logic, trough contract based XML/JSON message exchange format;
- Reduced server hits, smart user interface components only need data to be exchanged with the server, user interface definitions and choreography are loaded only once;
- greatly reduced development time, back-end developers can use the client-side objects mainly through a set of well defined and powerful API’s (in case custom functionality is required), without requiring the knowledge of complex Java Script implementation;
- repository based localization for easy maintenance (down to the user level);
- repository based interface design for rapid application development;
- complete separation between user interface and business logic;
- straight 4GL on the server side, a diversity of common development API’s available: context, localization, security;
- ease of customization by means of a series of already implemented developer hooks;
- simple and straightforward, very easy to learn (no need of in depth web development knowledge);
Typical applications that can benefit from using QuariX framework are those implemented in distributed (even international) organizations, those having large user counts or those that serve mobile workers, partners or even business to business integrations.
Conceived from the start as a web 2.0 framework for Progress developers, QuariX will help leverage the knowledge of Progress ABL developers into the exciting world of web2.0 application development.
We invite you to spend a few minutes on our site reading an overview of the QuariX, the features that QuariX has, or to try the online demo available on our web page.
